EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES:
• Upon completion of the CT Review course, the participant will:
• Understand the importance of patient screening and the significance of the obtained information
• Define the different contrast agents used in CT and when each one is indicated
• Recognize the various components of the CT scanner and the function of each part
• Describe how the CT image is reconstructed and displayed
• Understand the importance of various post-processing techniques
• Define image quality
• Distinguish image artifacts
• Be aware of special procedures and advanced imaging applications
