
Huron School of Nursing provides educational resources to assist the traditional and non-traditional student in successfully completing the nursing program. The program provides students with a emphasis on nursing knowledge and clinical practice and a strong liberal arts and science background. The program of study also provides an excellent foundation for future completion of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
Faculty is an important resource in nursing education. The qualified faculty of Huron School of Nursing represent varied backgrounds in education and experience, thus ensuring a learning environment in which the current trends and practices of nursing and patient care are incorporated.

Huron School of Nursing offers the advantage of student clinical experiences throughout the Cleveland Clinic Health System and other respected Cleveland area health care facilities.
Huron School of Nursing administrative and faculty offices are located at Huron Hospital and satelite offices are located at South Pointe Hospital. The Professional Libraries, housed at Huron and South Pointe Hospitals, offer a wide selection of periodicals and reference material and computer technology for access to nursing and medical databases. The Huron and South Pointe campuses provide students with distance learning capabilities, nursing skills lab, equipped with a human patient simulator and computer labs for access for a variety of electronic media. Scholar360, and inter-active Learning Management System, provides students with computer access to a wide variety of school resources. The Tutoring Resource Denter initailly funded by a grant from the Mount Sinai Health Care Foundation, provides servcies such as faculty and peer tutoring, assessment of note-taking skills, assistance with study and testing skills and other assistance as needed. The Student Services Staff provides services at both campus locations.
