Huron Hospital held the annual health conference for men.  The title of the event was Stay in the Game: The Healthy Life Game.  The special guest speakers were Reggie Rucker and Gregg Pruitt of the Cleveland Browns and Campy Russell and Austin Carr of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Huron Hospital partnered with City of Cleveland Heights to have the event at the Cleveland Heights Community Center.

Nearly 200 men registered for the event and 60% participated in blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol and prostate screenings.  Reverend Marvin McMickle and physicians such as Charles Modlin, Michael Ganz, Billy Brown and Jeffrey Lapeyrolerie participated in the event.  The event was a success because Huron Hospital brought the health professionals to the community and helped create access to health care.

The event was successfully planned, organized and executed by Joyce Persuad, Jeanette Velez, Jerry Sims, community relations and marketing staff and healthy heart team of Huron Hospital.
